Music

We have a great tradition of music at the King Alfred's Head. Both indoors, and outdoors, we are a great venue for a musical night out. Enjoy a Pimms in the garden in the summer while listening to a wide range of music. Or, sit by the roaring fire with a glass of whisky in the winter, and enjoy our open mic night. We've had some great acts on the past, and continue to present entertaining musical talent in Wantage.

Open Mic Sundays at 8pm

Join us from 8.000pm until 10.30pm on Sundays for an eclectic mix of music from local and national talent.
Performers can just turn up on the night, but to avoid disappointment please book a slot with Adam on 07765 012 205.

Past Events

On the 23rd January 2011, we hosted a night of musical entertainment, care of Poplar Jake.
This one man band played a selection of music with a bluesy and folk feel.
